ANTON DELFINO is a writer/director who hails from the least dangerous Newark – the one in the East Bay in NorCal. Since 2004, he has collaborated with Revival Arts Productions and Bindlestiff Studio for whom he has written and directed short plays. In December of 2006, Anton completed his undergraduate degree in Digital Motion Picture at Cogswell Polytechnical College in Sunnyvale, CA. He relocated to Los Angeles in December ‘08 to cultivate his skill set and pursue further cinematic opportunities.
Anton’s short film, Cereal Monogamy was invited to the Visual Communication’s Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and the Columbia University National Undergraduate Film Festival, where it won Best Editing. Cereal Monogamy was also invited to the Boulder Asian Film Festival and most recently, Pinoy Visions, a film and video exhibition organized by Visual Communications.
Between May ‘07 and November ‘08, Anton worked in the NYC independent film industry as a freelance grip and lighting technician for film, HD, and video productions. He has worked on feature films, commercials, industrials and music videos shot by established and up and coming directors of photography.
Anton is happy to be in Los Angeles where delicious burritos grow on trees.
